Jun and Kyoji are the stars of the show…and they try to come up with their own special performance..!

 

Chapter 1

Shiki: Finally, tonight is the night! Juncchi! The illumination lighting special live! We’re also in charge of a super duper important countdown! I’m nervous but excite! 

Jun: That’s right. I’m going to have to work extra hard if I want the audience to get excited….

Shiki: Oh yeah that reminds me, you and kyojicchi have a part together in the performance, right?  

Jun: Yeah, we met up about it the other day. I’lll show you what we came up with.

(The wink idea Kyoji had…I practiced it countless times..but, I’m not sure if I can pull it off..)

Shiki: Huh? Juncchi? OMG What are you doing with your eyes? Did something get in it? 

Jun: Huh?…Uhh..I..I’m fine, I got it…

Shiki: Great! The breeze around here is strong so ya gotta be careful~ 

*Shiki leaves*

Jun: (Well, at least he thought it was something else….I sure hope I can figure out how to smile and wink right..)

 

Chapter 2

Minori: Kyoji, so I’ve heard.. you had a secret meeting with Jun?

Pierre: Secret meet.ing..? Kyoji, secret meeting, what is it?

Kyoji: Nah, it was just a meeting. Not anything I’m trying to hide. Fuyumi and I have a part in the center during the chorus, we met up to discuss how we think we should dance. 

Minori: Wh….WHAT!? Kyoji, you’re actively thinking about your stage performances …!

Kyoji: Aren’t you  overreacting?…I mean, I’ve been an idol for a long time now and..I  thought only getting things from you wasn’t good on my part..

Minori: Wow….this is HUGE character development! I, I’m so happy…! Uuu…. 

Pierre: AHH!? Minori, you have handkerchief? Use mine, ok? 

Kyoji: Its fine, he’s not really crying.. You’re seriously overreacting…haha

 

Chapter 3

Shiki: BTW Juncchi, Minoricchi told me a story from when you guys were in Okinawa.

Jun: Minori san did? What did he say?

Shiki: He said during the live you winked just once, and the crowd went crazy! He said there wasn’t any pictures and he missed the local broadcast though…which is like, totally disappointing..

Jun: Such a story is…wait, what about that was disappointing to Minori? 

Shiki: I wanna see it too! Juncchi’s wink! So how about you do it in today’s live!?

Jun: Even if you say that, I still need to figure out…

Shiki: You know, it’s super important to wink at your fans! It makes you cute and..totally nothing to get embarrassed about, like this! *Shiki snaps a pic of himself*….Oh? Have I perhaps motivated you?

Jun: Not necessarily…. If anything, I’ll just use this as a reference. 

 

Chapter 4

Minori: Hey Kyoji, if it’s ok, can you show me what you and Jun came up with? 

Kyoji: …Nope. I want to show you during the real thing. 

Pierre: Me also, curious…kyoji, jun, doing what? secret meeting with me, tell, …..no good?

Kyoji: Uhh…d-don’t look at me with those eyes. No means no. 

Pierre: Aww..ok…sad but..I will see real thing so…I will patience..

Minori: Me too. Since you and Jun came up with it together, Im sure its gonna be great…!! Are you gonna fly around in the sky on a wire and then suddenly land on stage and-

Kyoji: Nooo, Im not…Minori san, what if Pierre thinks your being serious? 

(God, I feel like this is just getting harder…this is embarrassing, and I don’t like holding secrets…I gotta work hard for the live..)

 

Chapter 5

Jun: Make eye contact with fans…have a cute image.. don’t get embarrassed… 

(I gotta be courageous, like this!) *Jun snaps a picture of himself* (Ah, I thik this is my best one yet! Aright, I’m in good condition but I’ll keep on going… I’ll try to imagine what the audience sees, and lightly place my finger in fr-

Shiki: JUNCHHI! What are you doing with your finger?

Jun: Huh?! A..Ah.. I was pointing!! See?! Look right there there’s a cat! It’s really cute and chubby! See?!

Shiki: Wow really?! Where where!? Is it hiding? Come here, kitty kitty! *Shiki runs off* 

Jun: Phew… Shiki’s easily distracted personality sure comes in handy sometimes..I didn’t handle that too well though, how am I gonna handle the real thing?

 

Chapter 6

Minori: Im soooo excited for Kyoji and Jun’s special appeal performance…I wonder what it’s going to be. Waving their hands? Nah that’s too generic …

Pierre: How about, looking at fans, with sparkly smile? 

Minori: That’s good too but, since he’s holding it as a secret, it’s gotta be way more than that. There’s the hand out wink but, it seems like that’s something he’s already used to by now. Hmmm….

Kyoji: ….I gotta go now, Fuyumi and I are gonna have our final meeting. 

Pierre: OK! See you, Kyoji! 

*Kyoji leaves*

Kyoji: Jeez…those two really aren’t holding back. Though, I’m glad I didn’t tell them about our part… Surely, it should be able to exceed their expectations…All I need to do now is pull it off…!

 

Chapter 7 (live starts)

Shiki: Good evening everyone! I’m Im Shiki Iseya of HighxJoker and this is…

Jun: Fuyumi Jun, from HighxJoker as well. Good evening. It sure is a wonderful night. Tonight, we will participate in the lighting ceremony. Thank you all for coming!

Shiki: After that, we have a super special live for ya! Please have some fun!

Jun: Alright everybody, are you ready for the countdown? 

 

Shiki, Jun, and Beit: ….5,4,3,2,1…Lights on!!

 

Shiki: Woooah! It’s mega mega pretty! Looks like a whole ocean of lights! 

Jun: Truly… a beautiful sight. It looks completely different than before….

Shiki: Next up is our live!!! Please look forward to Juncchi and Kyojicchi’s performance!

Jun: Don’t make this harder for me…Shiki kun, I’ll try my best. 

 

Chapter 8

Pierre: Everyone! Good afternoon! No, good evening! 

Minori: Fufu~ yep it’s definitely evening now! Everyone, do you see the illumination? 

Pierre: Yahoo! Here, there! Sparkling! Shining! Our sparkling stage, delivery! 

Kyoji: Yep, for our next song this scene is perfect. 

Minori: In the center will be Kyoji and Jun kun! Watch out for their performance!

Kyoji: Y-you’re making this harder for me again …but uh …I’ll be fine! I think I can have fun with this feeling of tension. Jun and I came up with this “special performance” after all. A performance you don’t want to miss.. We will show you a dream you don’t want to wake up from!

 

Chapter 9

Shiki: Hey kitties and dudes! Let’s hype it up!

*Crowd cheers*

Shiki: There’s still more fun to come! Stay hyped till the end!

Jun: (Finally, it’s Kyoji and I’s part…And.. It’s nothing to be embarrassed about…Shiki taught me a whole lot before the live…I can do this…here I go!)

*Kyoji appears* 

Jun: …We’re going to shoot you right in the heart! So you better watch out!

Shiki: Juncchi! Kyojicchi! That was totally mega epic! Look, the crowd’s goin crazy! 

Jun: (Thank god…I actually did it…what would’ve happened if I didn’t…)

Shiki: Hm, Juncchi? Your face is a little red~? Can’t handle the flattery? 

Jun: Sh-shutup! The song is still on! Stop getting distracted!

 

Chapter 10

Minori: “We will show you a dream you don’t want to wake up from….come on..” wow……WOW..! You and Jun’s performance was amazing! The whole world is going to fall in love with you guys! Let’s make a movie!

Kyoji: Thanks Minori san…but..you know, I didn’t say “come on”. 

Minori: The fans in the audience seemed so so happy…I wish I was in the audience too! However, this time I got to see Jun’s wink that I missed in Okinawa, so I’m satisfied!

Pierre: Kyoji, Jun, special performance, was awesome! Audience, smiles, sparkle sparkle like illumination! I also, want to please, audience! I will do many wink and blow kiss!

Kyoji: Haha… Alright then, we can try doing it together, but first we have to practice. 

Pierre: Ok! Wink, blow kiss, let’s special training! 

Minori: At last, Kyoji is taking the place as the teacher… I, I’m absolutely moved…!

Kyoji: You’re overreacting…but.. Im happy. I guess I am growing. But.. please keep on teaching me things from now on, Minori san.

Bonus

I think this story is very sweet! I wanted to translate this one just cause there was so many cute and funny moments. There’s so much I love about it.

I enjoyed seeing the parallels between Kyoji and Jun both being self conscious but having their unit mates to hype them up! Though I think when embarrassed, Kyoji gets more shy and Jun gets more angry. I can’t believe he was bickering at Shiki during Beit’s part of the song…have some respect smh (jk)

However, I have a new appreciation towards this Jun knowing he took a million selfies to perfect this face.

And I love how emotional Minori was in it too, if i remember correctly this event was soon after the wedding one so it was two event stories in a row of Minori crying over Kyoji LMAO

I don’t blame him :,) Kyoji using the skills Minori taught him to teach Pierre is….aw……a…aa… ;-;

Speaking of Pierre, everyone is winking in this event…..but Pierre…?

Is that his double wink? The one he invented in melon fair (haha)
